Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly are currently 'taking things one day at a time' as the pair continue to navigate their relationship - nearly two months after the actress confirmed their engagement ended.

The Jennifer's Body actress, 37 - who recently shared a makeup-free selfie while getting candid about dealing with acne - has also been going to therapy sessions with the Bad Things rapper, 34, a source told Entertainment Tonight on Friday.

The two stars sparked reconciliation rumors when they were seen cozying up and slow dancing while at the Stagecoach Festival earlier last weekend in Indio, California.

'They are continuing to go to therapy, be fully transparent with each other about their feelings, and have consistent communication,' the insider expressed to the outlet.

'They have dealt with some trust issues, but are both making a continual effort to stay committed to their mutual end goal of being together forever.'

The source added that Megan and Kelly - whose real name is Colson Baker - 'are also respecting each other's space when needed, which is key for them during this time.'

'Overall, they're doing their best to make things work and keeping their kids in mind as well.'

The Transformers actress notably shares three children with ex-husband, Brian Austin Green:Noah, 11, Bodhi, 10, and Journey, 7. Machine Gun Kelly is also father toCasie, 14, from a previous relationship.

'They are trying to keep their relationship issues as private as possible and protect their children from any drama or outside noise.'

Earlier last week on Friday, the two stars were spotted attending the Stagecoach Festival and were seen sharing an affectionate moment while slow dancing during Jelly Roll's set, per TMZ.

While standing in a VIP section near the stage, Fox and MGK could be seen gently swaying back and forth to the music.

Also late last month, the beauty attended the rapper's star-studded, 34th birthday bash and flashed a cheerful smile with Kelly in a photo series shared to his Instagram page.

Other celebrities that stopped by the lighthearted festivities included Post Malone and Mod Sun.

Social media users jumped to the comment section to share their thoughts on the image which showed Megan and Kelly together.

'when you shut down the rumors,' one fan penned, while another added, 'you + megan are precious ❤️.'

An Instagram user wrote, 'You can tell he's back with her. He looks genuinely happy again. I saw him on tour when they broke up and he looked depressed AF.'

Back in March, Megan revealed during an appearance on the Call Her Daddy podcast that her engagement to the music artist had ended.

'I think that what I've learned from being in this relationship is that it's not for public consumption, so I think as of now, I don't have a comment on like the status of the relationship per say,' she explained.

'What I can say is that is what I refer to as being my twin soul and there will always be a tether to him no matter what. I can't say for sure what the capacity will be, but I will always be connected to him somehow.'

A source told Us Weekly that the stars were no longer living together as they worked through their relationship issues.

Last month in April, MGK notably gave a gruesome look to his fans and followers as he showed the process of getting a blackout tattoo on his arms and upper body.
